Manchester United delighted 105,000 football fans at Optus Stadium

After a ten day pre-season tour, Manchester United left Perth in the best possible way, with two wins, delighting 105,000 football fans at Optus Stadium and also getting hours of training at the WACA Ground under their belt in readiness for their new season.

The sun shone throughout the entire Tour and Perth turned red to celebrate the world’s biggest sporting team’s presence in town.

The two matches attracted over 21,000 visitors from regional WA, interstate and overseas who came to support Manchester United, fierce rivals Leeds United and local A-League Premiers Perth Glory.

Thousands of fans also enjoyed events outside of the two matches, meeting Manchester United and Leeds United Legends, a golf day, open training sessions and more.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this very special Tour.
