Earlier in the year, 30 sports fans representing a wide range of demographics were selected from more than 450 nominations across the community. Four meetings took place over a two month period, with the final session taking place at the end of April 2013.

Premier Colin Barnett and Minister for Sport and Recreation Terry Waldron attended the last session and personally thanked the fans for their significant contributions. The group offered the project team a number of creative and practical suggestions for the new Stadium, the Sports Precinct and transport. Some of the sports fans also had the opportunity to be involved in some media activities which were aired on local television and radio stations.

For more details about the final session, please visit Sports fans shape face of new Perth Stadium media release.
